DEAL Dubai will now be known as Entertainment & Leisure MENA as it comes under the ownership of GL Exhibitions. Former organiser International Expo-Consults announced in February that it would no longer be hosting the show it has run for the past 32 years. Now, GL Exhibitions has unveiled its new era, with a focus on immersive experiences, lifestyle and leisure environments, and gaming and esports. The first show under its leadership will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 12 – 14, 2027. GL says that the new branding “reflects the broader ecosystem, aligning the platform with how modern destinations are being designed, built and operated.” The company has experience of organising B2B and B2C events across the UAE, Riyadh and Australia, and says it will bring enhanced international reach, stronger industry partnerships and long-term strategic investment to the show.
