Alma Resort Cam Ranh, a luxury resort in Vietnam, has installed an immersive virtual reality attraction to boost its entertainment offering.
Developed in partnership with RH1 and Blue Valley Partners, Awra is a virtual reality attraction that is designed to enhance guest engagement and create a memorable experience.
In the attractions, guests wear virtual reality headsets and move through a physical space, interacting with their surroundings and experiencing stories.
The first experience available in Awra is Titanic: Echoes of the Past. Created by European immersive entertainment company Eclipso, the experience begins at 3,800m beneath the Atlantic Ocean at the wreck of the Titanic. It then takes guests back to 1912 to explore the ship and the human stories inside it. Available in languages including English, Chinese, Spanish and French, it is able to accommodate a range of local and international guests.

Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, managing director of Alma Resort Cam Ranh, said: “Awra has brought a new and innovative immersive entertainment experience to Alma Resort Cam Ranh.
"The concept adds value to our guest journey by offering families, teenagers, and resort guests a unique activity that is different from the traditional resort entertainment offering. We see Awra as a strong addition to the Alma Resort guest experience and a promising platform for future immersive entertainment programming.”
Claude Rety, CEO of Awra, added: “People in Vietnam are looking for new ways to enjoy, learn, and connect. With Awra, we want to create immersive experiences that bring people together and make educational or historical content more engaging. This is only the beginning of Awra’s journey, with more worlds and stories to come.”
