Saudi Arabian construction giant Safari Group has announced plans to invest EGP1bn (US$32m) into Egypt by the end of the decade. Investment has already begun, with the Safari Group opening the country’s first branch of Chuck E. Cheese in the capital city, Cairo. Zawya reports that Ali bin Saleh Al Sagri, the executive vice president of Safari Group, said that the group was aiming to open more CEC branches in Sharm El-Sheikh, Alexandria and Cairo, as well as venues in Turkey and Morocco. The Greater Cairo area is targeted for expansion due to its high population density and a growing demand for entertainment experiences.
