The Fun House opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, November 6, from 6pm to 9pm, inviting people to explore its attractions and activities. The venue boasts a range of attractions, including a golf simulator, axe throwing, an inflatable obstacle course, and a roller skating rink. It also offers a variety of dining options, including 'authentic Italian' cuisine. Andy Fletcher, owner of Axes to Ashes Axe Throwing and BBQ Smokehouse, said: "Axes to Ashes is proud to announce that we are creating a fixed axe-throwing venue within The Fun House of Colne. "The Axes to Ashes Axe Imperium will provide exciting entertainment for both young and old in the town centre. I am thrilled with the feedback from the people of Colne so far and would like to personally thank Aneesa McGladdery from Colne BID for introducing me to the management team at The Fun House and for the amazing support she has given."
The open event will allow community members to visit the venue, experience a preview of the attractions, and sample the food offerings. Guests are welcome to drop by anytime between 6pm and 9pm. The Fun House is committed to 'safety, accessibility, and top-quality experiences.' The venue is 'staffed by trained professionals to ensure a safe environment for all guests.' The venue is designed to 'accommodate visitors of all abilities, with a goal of becoming a beloved part of the Colne community and supporting local tourism by creating jobs and a vibrant new gathering space.'
