The groundbreaking ceremony for the Bachagou Skiing Resort project was held on October 15 in Lanxi Country, Heilongjiang Province. According to the introduction, the project has an investment of about 600 million yuan and is divided into two phases of construction. Upon completion, it will have a snowmaking area of 500,000 square meters, 7 ski runs and a snow play area, which can accommodate about 15,000 visitors skiing and playing in the snow at the same time, and will become the largest snow play theme park in China. The project plans to complete the first phase of the ski field construction in 2024, building 5 ski runs and 66 ice and snow entertainment attractions. After the project is completed and put into operation, Lanxi Project is expected to receive 500,000 visitors annually, generating tourism and related industry revenue of 500 million yuan and creating 2,000 jobs.
