A POPULAR Irish holiday resort has launched a "brand new" waterpark - and fans reckon it “looks awesome”. Hidden Valley Holiday Park is situated in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow. The fun holiday park, which reopens in May, has announced the exciting new attraction on social media. They said: “Our brand new Aqua Park opens Saturday, May 3. Visit us for a day of activities, or book one of our accommodations or camping pitches.”

Little ones and large ones will love the new aqua park with over 30 obstacles and 1,800 square metres to conquer. Photos teased fun climbing walls, slides and an inflatable castle. Children aged seven and over can splash in the waterpark for one hour with prices ranging from €25.50 to €27.50. There’s also a Junior Splash Park that will keep the little ones aged two to six years old busy. The resort organisers added: “

Discover the beauty of Hidden Valley on a single or double sit-on-top kayak, paddle boats and bumper boats. Reach new heights by taking on the fun climbing walls which vary for all abilities. Downhill tubing will get hearts racing as you slide down the mountainside. There’s also a selection of overnight accommodation available at the resort to make it a staycation to remember.
