Recently, the launching ceremony of the Maoming’s "Sunshine 100 Colorful World" project was held in Aiqun Village, Yangjiao Town, Maonan District, Maoming, China. it is reported that the total investment of the project is more than 3.5 billion yuan (US$487.25m), with a total planning area ofabout 1,000 mu (666,666.67 sq.m) and a total construction area of about 330 mu (220,000 sq.m), of which the first phase development area is about 130 mu (86,666.67 sq.m) and the second phase construction area is about 187 mu (124,666.67 sq.m). The overall positioning of the project is an innovative cultural tourism complex, featuring a village-style commercial street and park-style layout. It integrates surrounding ecological restoration, road improvement, landscape upgrade and other work into the construction project. It is committed to creating a demonstration project for urban and rural integration. Meanwhile, the "Colorful Mile" of Xiaodongjiang will be built around the "one river and two banks", and the former mine lake will be transformed into a water park. The commercial block will introduce diversified formats such as outlets and theme restaurants to form an all-weather consumption scene.
