The 27th Harbin Ice and Snow World in Heilongjiang Province will expand its park area to 1.2 million sq.m, with a total ice and snow usage reaching 400,000 cubic meters—both setting new records for the event. This expansion will create a more spacious and comfortable environment for visitors. This winter's theme centers on “expanding scale, upgrading offerings, and enhancing services” to deliver a high-quality ice and snow feast.
Beyond its record-breaking scale, the festival will feature significantly increased ice and snow usage alongside a greater number of ice and snow sculptures. Diverse technological elements will be integrated into the creations, employing new audio-visual and lighting techniques to enable interactive ice and snow landscapes. The world's first ice and snow cultural tourism metaverse product will debut simultaneously, allowing visitors to experience virtual-reality blended ice and snow scenes through lightweight devices.
Amusement and performance offerings have undergone comprehensive upgrades: the classic ice slide has expanded its runways, while new attractions like a large-scale ice maze and a high-altitude Ferris wheel have been added. Daily performances include car ballet stunt shows and ice fantasy shows, complemented by nightly drone light shows illuminating the sky. Smart park services have been enhanced with an official mini-program integrating electronic guides and crowd flow alerts. Wind-proof heated shelters have been installed in popular attractions to optimize the entire visitor experience.
