Le Canton Resort, located in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, has announced the start of construction on its indoor water park. The new facility, named Acqua Park, will have a capacity for up to 370 people, occupying approximately 1,000 square meters (m²). The inauguration is scheduled for the second half of 2026.

The new complex will have two swimming pools, one for children, with water toys, and another for adults, with a hydromassage area. In addition, a sauna, men's and women's changing rooms, a bar, and a rest area will be available. The structure is being built next to the Hotel Magique and in front of Parc Magique, an indoor amusement park that is part of the resort.

As part of the changes to the outdoor area, the current soccer field will be replaced by two smaller fields, with a focus on recreational activities for guests traveling with their families. According to Mônica Paixão, CEO of Le Canton, the investment reinforces the resort's proposal to offer leisure options throughout the year.

“We want Le Canton to continue to be a complete experience at any time of year. The indoor aquatic complex expands the possibilities for rest and entertainment and adds value to the stay,” says the executive.
