Japanese convenience stores to add claw machines and other amusement facilities

A Japanese convenience store chain is set to add crane games and other coin-op video games to its stores. FamilyMart, which currently operates more than 16,000 stores across Japan, announced the move as part of a reorganisation of how it uses its stores, saying it would close its eat-in spaces and add the games.
